Our Story
A Firm Built Around One Kind of Case
William S. Kroger opened his practice in Los Angeles in 1997 with a decision most lawyers never make: take criminal cases and only criminal cases. Nearly three decades later that has not changed. The firm has defended more than 10,000 matters — from first-time DUIs and drug possession to federal indictments and serious violent charges.
That focus is the whole point. A lawyer who appears before the same judges and deputy district attorneys every week knows what a given courtroom will actually do with a case — which motions land, which prosecutors will listen before filing, and when a matter should be tried rather than negotiated.
The firm stayed deliberately small for the same reason. When you hire Kroger Law Group you are not routed to an intake department and handed off to whichever associate is available on your court date. You speak with your attorney, and your attorney is the one who stands up when your name is called.
